I’m Christina, 26, food enthusiast and cook. I’ll try anything once. There is never enough, I aim not just to seek but to find the best, most authentic of…anything! I love art, music, science and making things by hand. Knowing things isn’t enough…an untested theory isn’t any fun. Yet I’m not satisfied in just doing, I want to know “WHY?” Yes, I am eternally five years old.
I’m a Knitter. You can find me on Ravelry under the user stringtwosticks.

Hi
I saw your one of your post in the tea group of Ravelry and saw that you are in Ft Wayne. I am in Elkhart…small world. I too struggle with my own weight issues and just need to get down to business about it. After 21 yrs of being out of school, I went back in January at Ivy Tech Elkhart’s campus to pick up some humanity classes. I have an associate degree in dental hygiene and am going back to finish with a BA in psychology after transferring to Indiana University South Bend…then to the master’s program for counseling. I may need it by then. I am a new knitter, spinning for 2 yrs, and learning to weave. When I grow up, I want to learn how to do socks…actually, I am working at it. I have a Bible study group that I meet with where we do “Tea” when we meet up about 2x/month. Right now we are going through a book called “In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day” by Mark Batterson. That book was the final straw that got me moving and re-enrolled in school. Awesome book….get it. My best to you. Have an Awesome Day!!!……..Loreena
